Minister Awarded the Winners of International Olympiad Award ceremony of the winners of International Young Inventors Project Olympiad was held at the Ministry of Education and Science. Competition was held in two rounds among the 7th-12th graders. The best workings were selected from around 40 countries and were evaluated at an International Olympiad that was held in Georgia. Evaluators liked the projects, presented in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, informatics, ecology as well as industry and household techniques and therefore, identified participants who took the first, second and the third places. All participants of the competition were presented with different gifts. The MES, “Chaglar” Educational Institutions, National Intellectual Property Center SAKPATENTI, the Delegation of EU to Georgia and company “Geocell” were among the organizers of this event. By the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, encouragement of the schoolchildren in order to increase their interest in different scientific fields and involve them in research and invention activities is very important. |

Georgian families hosted the young inventor who came to participate to IYIPO 2010. They showed Georgian hospitality to foreign students. |
Young invertors met around the Globe in Tbilisi, Georgia. IYIPI is held in Tbilisi. IYIPO brought together over 120 brightest invertors like-minded students and their supervisors in Tbilisi. Young invertors over 30 countries displayed their 70 science projects about pressing issues of science, engineering. Winners of IYIPO not only received a medal for hard work but also Laptop. |
